Thanks for getting the group together… it was so lovely to see pictures of Macch’s brother and sister. The children especially thought it was pretty special. They picked Mac up tried to show him. Well, Macchiato has certainly brought a lot of joy, laughs and love to our family. He has settled in so well and like the others we are so grateful for the hard work that Cloud Catcher and her team put in before he came to us.I think we might have the “big boy” of the litter. He weighed in this morning at 7.1kg.

I promise I am not feeding him too much but he has basically doubled in size as you will see from the piccies. We are also doing the modified barf diet which he loves with some different treats on top.Cloud Catcher, yesterday we took him around to Nikki and Andrews house to meet Lola! They had sooo much fun together and played for about 4 hours straight. It was so lovely to watch.

We are all heading up to the beach on boxing day so they are going to have a ball up there. Our little fellow is the biggest sook too. He has got into this routine of needing to go for a wee about 4.45am of a morning so we let him out and he goes and plays for about an hour or so in the yard after which he comes back and will not leave us alone unless we spend ten minutes cuddling him and picking him up for hugs…(lucky we are early risers)Anyway, would love to hear and see more piccies of other brothers and sister so pls stay in touch.
Cheers

Dear Cloud Catcher, Ruby has been a part of our family for some months now, and we can't imagine life without her. She is a bundle of joy and affection. She is the best friend of our two daughters - despite chewing the hands and feet off Barbies! It's hard for her though, as Ruby thinks she is one of the girls, and can't understand why she isn't allowed in the playroom!
We can't go anywhere with her without being stopped in the street with people commenting on how beautiful she is and what a gorgeous colour she is.
Thank you,
Nikki Hutchinson

Hi Cloud Catcher
Just wanted to give you an update on our gorgeous Gem. She is now 5 months old and we can't imagine life without her. The children love her to bits and she adores them. She loves the beach and the sea and is so, so good with other dogs. We have done puppy school and everyone there thought she was just lovely. Our walks take twice as long as we get stopped by everyone saying how beautiful she is and asking for a cuddle! We couldn't be more happy with her, thank you.
Best wishes
Lin, Andrew, Meg & Sam

Cloud Catcher,
Good to hear from you. I am doing well. I'm glad you liked the Christmas card, I think it turned out pretty well. I wanted to get a good family picture before Mike went off to Iraq. I took that with my tripod and camera timer. Christmas was good, and we stayed busy, even taking a four day trip to Kauai, which was lovely.
My parents spent the holiday with us. Mike left the first week in January, and we miss him, but have gotten into a routine that keeps us busy and the days seem to go by fast. I am firm on getting the kids into bed by 8pm.
So I can have a few hours in the evening all to myself. I think this helps me to stay sane. Wow, it's so nice of you to donate the puppies to become assistance dogs! Your dogs are wonderful and I know they will make for a good line of dogs for that purpose. I love Sulley more and more as the time passes. He is such a excellent dog! Maddie is so attached to him! She usually won't even share him with Noah or Grace, he is her dog as far as she's concerned. He sleeps with her at night.
She actually lays her head on him like he's her pillow! He doesn't mind, but he waits untill she falls asleep and slips out from under her and lays on the floor or the foot of her bed. I think maybe he gets to hot. Then he jumps up on the bed with me for the rest of the night.

He is just the best dog! I keep thinking maybe we'll order another from you someday, but probably best to wait a little while longer. Since we are moving soon. But the kids keep saying they would like to have one more dog, so that they get the opprotunity to love on one. Maddie really won't let them pet or love on him at all. It's too funny! The other two have to sneak when she's not looking and pet and love on him. I told them maybe we will someday. I certainly love the one we have now, and I bet he'd love the company, he just loves to play with other dogs. In the mean time I am trying to encourage my brother in law to get a labradoodle from you for his family. They live in California. They have wonderful children. We move May 1st, that's the day we actually fly out of here to Montery California.
I have good friends in the San Francisco area and they love dogs and have a golden retriever, they are going to pick us up from the airport and we will stay with them as long as we need to. We will hopefully be given a home by the military right away. It's nice to have some friends to stay with though, especially ones that will take in Sulley too! I don't want to board him, I just hate that, and I haven't had to do it once yet! I will keep this email address, I have no plans to change it, but I will of course give you a forwarding address once I get a house. If you are ever in Northern California in the next two years, please let me know, you are welcome in our home anytime! I do hope we get to visit you sometime in Australia, I really would love to see such a beautiful country, with such unique wildlife. I can't believe how much rain you've had!!

They had a good time. Mike managed to send flowers even from Iraq and I was so surprised to get them. They are planning a doodle romp for April 20th here, and it will be hosted at the house where Tom Selleck's character, Magnum PI lived in the TV show. It's a really nice estate and will be awfully nice to visit.
Should be a lot of fun. Wish you were closer, would be nice to have you attend. Anyway, we are all doing really well and in good health. I hope despite the rain and mold you are doing well and the pups and dogs are all well even though they must be soggy most of the time! It was really nice to hear from you. I am attaching a photo of Maddie and Sulley that I took recently. I just love it, because they are such good buddies.
Feel free to add it to your website with your photos of families and their dogs if you want.
I will try and send a photo of Maddie asleep on him, it's so sweet! Talk to you later.
Take care, Kate

Hi Cloud Catcher
We have had the BEST weekend! We have had visitors from Adelaide, which has been great for her. This evening we went down to the harbour and sat by Luna Park (don't worry, we didn't put her down) and everyone walking past loved her, and kids stroked her or said "is it real?".
She went to puppy school on Thursday. I was a bit worried it was too soon, but it was the first of a 5 week course, and the trainer is brilliant and I learnt so much. The trainer said the earlier the better - but there are some much bigger puppies in the class and they were a bit boisterous, but she coped well.
Rafa is amazing. She has only had one accident inside (and that was my fault, I didn't wait long enough) and she slept in the crate beside the bed for 2 nights without a sound, and now is in sleeping in the lounge room - no crying at all. She has learnt to sit, and is really happy. We have cut off that bit of hair which is sticking in her eye in the photo. She is very placid, but also very playful.
Thanks for breeding such a beautiful dog :)
Best regards - Jan and Robin

Hi there Cloud Catcher,
Its been a while so I thought I had better let you know how Bagheera is settling in. Well let me tell you, we are all one big happy family. He is just marvelous. Simply the best dog ever. We love him dearly, he is just a delight. Very easy so far in our little bits of training. Night time is no problem he has been sleeping through since his 4th night. He knows where to do Bizzo (his business) and off he goes.
The rare accident, but we have had a bit of rain. Not that the rain stops him. Tony came in the other day and asked did you buy a fish or a dog"? I said "why"? "Cuz he loves the water the rain" he is a cracker an absolute cracker. He's good in the car on the little trips that we have done with him, nothing big or long yet. Working on the lead at the Mo. Sit and Drop is good. He loves his toy basket. He goes over checks out what he wants and eventually chooses something to play with. He is simply FANTASTIC. We just l;ove him to death. We are so happy and have you to thank. I did good choosing you, and you did good choosing him for us. Thanks again, oh.........................do you want my 4 year old?
We will take 3 more Bagheera's. ha! Ha! Ha! I can hear her having a whinge and he is at my feet peaceful.
